We went to a surprise birthday party last Friday,
and one of the
Dips really caught my attention. Before
the night was over, I
got my friend Helga to give me the recipe.
Spinach Dip
1 10-oz. package chopped spinach
1/3 cup low fat mayonnaise
1/4 cup low fat sour cream
1 8-oz. container low fat plain
yogurt
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 6-oz. container water chestnuts,
chopped
1 tsp. lemon juice
Fresh ground pepper
Dash of hot sauce
Defrost spinach and squeeze out all excess water.
Combine spinach
with remaining ingredients and chill until ready
to serve. Serve
with fresh vegetables and /or crackers.
This was a hit at her party, and I’m sure it will
be at your
next event.
