Layered Reubens

Chili sauce and caraway cheese added to the sauerkraut gives
these 3-decker sandwiches a flavor all their own.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip Dressing
1/4 cup hot chili sauce
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
12 slices rye bread
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
8 slices caraway cheese, halved
2 medium onions, sliced
8 thin slices corned beef
2 cups drained sauerkraut

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine the mayonnaise or Miracle Whip Dressing with the chili
sauce and the parsley. Spread on each slice as the sandwiches are
made.

Layer the sandwiches in this way:
Top one slice of bread with tomato, cheese, and onion.
Top second slice of bread with corned beef, and sauerkraut. Place
remaining slice of bread on top of the sauerkraut, spread side
down.

Cut each sandwich in half, then wrap loosely in foil. Place on a
cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until heated through.
